The Atrium is set in nature. Volume is square with three large fenestration openings centered at the roof and two facades. This rigorous and bold geometry indicates the feeling of decisiveness – which resonates with the intended use of the space. The Atrium is space for relaxation, self-reflection and gathering of people with intention to exchange energies and experiences.
The floor plan indicates no furniture but 22 feet long desk. The skylight is open to the skies and represents a focal point. There is no bedroom, yet the bed is recessed in the floor and easily available as needed. The kitchen is separated by an interior partition to avoid cooking smells intertwine with the common areas.
The landscape is designed to feature a console bench on the rear façade with an area for gathering in front and a half-circle floor bench within trees flanking a building.
This project remains a concept.
